SECOMP introduces itself

The SECOMP group was founded in 1988 by Michael Taraba and Gunther Schroff with the aim of establishing itself as a competent partner for high-quality products in the fields of IT accessories and networking technology for professional users.

Today, we are one of the leading European suppliers in these areas and offer a comprehensive product range consisting of IT accessories, network technology products, surveillance systems, UPS & power supplies, consumer electronics accessories as well as 19'' cabinets & accessories.

In addition to distribution and catalogue mail order business, stationary trade with a specialist store in Ettlingen (Germany) as well as online trade in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands are an integral part of our sales strategy.

Approximately 250 people are employed at the locations of the whole company. The entire group of companies, consisting of SECOMP International AG and the SECOMP AG in Switzerland, the SECOMP Electronic Components GmbH in Germany, as well as companies in France, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, generates a consolidated annual turnover of approx. 100 million €.

For over 30 years, SECOMP has stood for professional products in the fields of IT accessories, networking technology, security technology and consumer electronics accessories.

Our quality management starts with the product selection. Every new product is put through its paces under realistic operating conditions in our own electronics laboratory. Every incoming delivery of goods is systematically checked according to a random sampling procedure in accordance with DIN-ISO 2859.

We attach great importance to professional and efficient products. Quality management and a good price-performance ratio are close to our hearts. Our products comply with the prescribed European standards and directives, such as CE, ErP, RoHS and REACH. The specifications and requirements of the various standards and technologies are strictly followed.

The products of our own brand ROLINE are designed for professional continuous operation. With a 5-year functional guarantee, we stand by our performance promise.

Our ROLINE products are developed for professional and industrial users and differ fundamentally in quality from comparable products from the IT environment. The high compatibility in interaction with other devices is exceptional.

In order to meet even the highest demands in terms of shielding and contact reliability, we launched the PC and multimedia cables of our own brand ROLINE years ago with the ROLINE GOLD product line in an even higher quality.

ROLINE GOLD cables feature gold-plated contacts for contact reliability even with high mating cycles, plugs with metal housings for better shielding and nylon-reinforced cable outer material for better stability.

Help our environment and avoid unnecessary plastic waste!

For our ROLINE GREEN series, we have selected a range of well-known ROLINE quality products where we do not use plastic bags and plastic cable ties. Instead, the products are only labelled with a paper label.

The cables themselves are made of halogen-free TPE material to avoid the classic sheathing material PVC.

Our own brand VALUE stands for attractive prices and tested quality. With VALUE products, the buyer gets the best possible price in terms of quality and product features.

If you want to install products in network installations or use products in production and do not need elaborate sales packaging with product explanations, you are absolutely right with our VALUE products.

The VALUE brand products meet the requirements of the office environment and are supplied in economical packaging with article number stickers. This consistent orientation is reflected in a significant price advantage.

We distribute our products throughout Europe via our branches in Germany, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, as well as via various distributors in other European countries.

The goods are purchased from approx. 150 manufacturers and producers in Europe and, via our branches in Taiwan, from approx. 200 manufacturers and producers in Asia.

As one of the leading suppliers in Europe, we purchase large quantities directly ex works from producers all over the world and are in daily contact with more than 200 suppliers through our companies in Taipei, Prague, Paris and Zurich.

Our central warehouse in Ettlingen (Germany) has a capacity of more than 10,000 pallet spaces with a range of over 5,000 individual products.

With an average availability of over 95 % of stock products, we are able to deliver orders received by 3.00 p.m. on the same day.
