Description
This cable detection and testing device, consisting of a tone generator and a probe (cable detector), is a very practical aid for cable installation and troubleshooting.
- The probe tests for continuity and assignment or determines line polarity and voltage for network / telephone cables.
- The Tone Generator sends a signal to the connected line, the probe searches for the corresponding line at the other end; indication both by LED and acoustically.
- The probe (cable locator) has a special inductive plastic tip to prevent unintentional short circuits in the vicinity of high voltage equipment
- The Tone Generator can send single tone and multiple tone signals
- Battery for the cable detector: 1x 9V block (6LR61 / AM-6)
- Battery for the tone generator: 1x 9V block (6LR61 / AM-6)
