Description

  • Lightning is a proprietary computer bus and power connector created by Apple Inc. to replace its previous proprietary 30-pin dock connector, intended to connect mobile devices like iPhones to host computers.
  • Using 8 pins instead of 30, Lightning is significantly more compact than the 30-pin dock connector and can be inserted with either side facing up
  • For the connection of devices like the iPhone on from the iPhone 5 that introduced the Lightning connector, as well as for iPods and iPads on from that generation
  • This product is only made for devices with 8pin-connector! It is NOT compatible with cables and peripherals designed for its predecessor, unless used with an adapter.
