Description

2.5 Gigabit Ethernet switch with 8 ports (including 4 ports PoE++ and 4 ports PoE+) and 1 uplink port (for an SFP+) for small or medium-sized network environments. The switch can be used as a central switch for smaller networks as well as for large networks at the edge (access layer).

This 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet PoE switch is designed for small or medium network environments to strengthen its network connection. It converts standard 100~240V/AC power into low-voltage DC that runs over an existing LAN cable to power up Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant network accessories like e.g. workgroup switches, network cameras, access points, IP-phones.

PoE+/PoE++ resource management: the switch supports PoE+/PoE++ connections with up to 30W per port. Total switch consumption is limited to 150 watts to prevent excessive heat dissipation. With Power over Ethernet, the ports are prioritized numerically (1-2-3-...) and switched off from back to front at full load.
